Bio:
Striped Maple Hollow could rightly be described as folk, bluegrass, or old-time country, but the word that best describes them is Americana. Their repertoire is made up of originals, with a few rock n roll favorites from all eras and old-time folk standards rounding out the mix.

The guys sing too, but it's the sweet harmonies of Jayna and Sonya that distinguish many of the band's songs. With changing acoustic instrumentation backed by bass, their sound is fresh yet familiar.

Jayna sings soprano lead and plays guitar, while her husband Micah plays guitar and banjo and adds vocals. Sonya sings alto lead. Adam, also known for his work with the Whiskey River Panhandlers, plays mandolin, lead guitar, blues harp, and sometimes adds vocals. Leo, who joined the band in 2016, plays bass.

The band, which is based in Johnstown, has appeared with The Whiskey River Panhandlers, The Stray Birds, Colebrook Road, Essential Machine, Mandolin Orange, Lindsay Lou & the Flatbellys, and Chris Smither, among many others. They've played the Flood City Music Festival, Curwensville Days, the Wills Mountain Festival, the Northern Appalachian Folk Festival, the Appalachian Festival and more.
